7th December 2005 Kite surfing: Big Bay Kamers SA Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 15-25ktns Surf / Sea State: Overhead Swell Air Temperature: 20Cels Sea Temperature: 13Cels Weather: Warm Max Speed: Distance Covered: Never expected to get to the beach & find 3-4m overhead swell..big swell just hit CT and surfers were pulling into some super sweet barrels..first time on da sonic, which is Will's - Thanks Will for helping me out!! U're da legend! I'm well impressed..after all the forum Bowkite reading nonsense, this is the best kite i've flown for sure. i found it really excelled in big surf and had such a massive range. Had some good jumps (notably higher and longer grabbing melon style unhooked...musta been holding the board for well into 4 seconds :D didn't try any mobes or kiteloops as i'm trying to get used to the bar setup. But i have a really good feeling about this kite... Oh yeah, did i mention i rode with LEN10 all afternoon?!! had a bit too much sun today Swell forcest is even bigger for 2morra |
